The Long Beach Polytechnic Music Department relies on contributions from its generous donors to keep its program in top form. Tax-deductible donations are used for such important expenses as paying sectional music coaches, repairing school instruments, purchasing new instruments, festival and competition fees, original music compositions, as well as many other vital music education expenditures that are not covered by the school district. Providing these important music education elements are the reason Poly’s Instrumental Music program is one of the best in the nation.
